Symons Commits to Iowa State

In yet another effort to improve the Holland River Bandits on the ice, we are pleased to announce the addition of Bill Gutenberg to the scouting staff.
Bill grew up playing hockey in the suburban Detroit area at the age of 5 years old. He played in the Great Lakes Junior hockey league for the Redford Royals Junior A team for two years. Bill received a scholarship offer the attend American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts where he played for 4 more years earning a varsity letter and join the elite 100 point clubs! After college he played for two years in the East Coast Hockey league for the Virginia Lancers from 1988 to 1990. He then played for the Michigan Falcons in the United Hockey league in 1991-92. Bill currently resides in Michigan and will be scouting local high school talent.
Bill has been the varsity coach at Warren DeLasalle high school in Michigan for the past 5 years.
