Exhibition Series provides look to Future

The unofficial start to the season is about to launch as 30 teams converge on the Ford Performance Centre this weekend for the Annual Etobicoke Exhibition Series.

The Etobicoke Exhibition Series is always popular with coaches and scouts alike. As a result, 10 teams from each of three age divisions, U15AA, U18AA and U22AA will come together for exhibition games all played under the watchful eye of scouts and coaches from Hockey Canada, USports and NCAA.

“Each year the Etobicoke Junior Dolphins are happy to host this exciting weekend of women’s hockey,” said Joe Butkevich, the Dolphins Head Coach. “This is the first really good chance to see the next group of athletes who will play in our league this year, and for years to come.”

Schedules and a listing of teams for each age group can be found here on the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association website. Action gets underway on Saturday, August 31 at 8am when the host Etobicoke Juniors meet local rivals the Brampton Canadettes.

All rinks at the Ford Performance Centre are on the LiveBarn Network and games are available to watch live through subscription.
