Embry-Riddle Hockey 2022-2023 Schedule Released
Date: Jul 17, 2022

The Embry-Riddle hockey team has been in existence for 20 years. During that time the team has been run as a student club. In recent years the club has recruited the assistance of ERAU faculty and staff who hold high credentials in hockey and academia. Under this leadership the club has become more focused on pursuing excellence both on and off the ice.
The purpose of the Embry-Riddle Hockey team is:
As a team, our goal is to be ranked within the top 10 of teams in the American Collegiate Hockey Association's (ACHA) southern division in the 2018-19 season. This ranking will allow us to be eligible for the regional playoffs where we can earn the chance to play for the ACHA national title. Our team has had great success over the past two years! We have won our conference championship two years in a row, we have great coaching and players, and we are looking to take the program to a higher level. To meet this goal we will have to increase our practice schedule and schedule more games vs tougher opponents.
Hockey is club sport at Embry-Riddle. As such, the club receives limited financial support from the university and must be primarily funded by student dues. Unfortunately, the costs associated with the sport of ice hockey are high (over $50,000/year) and our players must pay up to $1,000 each to participate. Our plan to add additional practices and away games increases this cost further. Please help us lower the cost of playing for our students by making a tax deductible donation today. crowdfunding.erau.edu/project/9451
