Embry-Riddle Hockey 2022-2023 Schedule Released
Date: Jul 17, 2022
The Eagles did fight well this past weekend against the Spartans. Friday’s Game at Daytona Ice Arena saw Riddle fall 3-2 in overtime, despite a strong performance in net from Max Minervini and goals from Ryan Marks and Turner Kaufmann. Saturday the Eagles traveled to Clearwater to play UT for their annual “Movemeber” Game, with Riddle getting shutout 3-0.
Despite this tough pair of games against the #3 University of Tampa Spartans, the Eagles have a reason to be optimistic about their current state. The most recent ACHA Rankings have placed Riddle at 6th, the highest in team history, up from 8th the previous week. The Eagles boast a 9-6-1-1 record with one of the strongest schedules in the ACHC D3 South and are posed to hit the ground running in the Spring after wrapping up the final set of Fall games this weekend.
This upcoming weekend could certainly be the biggest test of the Eagles Season. The Florida Atlantic University Owls will come to town boasting a 13-0-1 record and eager to remain undefeated. The two teams will square off twice this weekend at the Daytona Ice Arena, once Friday at 6:30pm and again on Saturday at 4:30. Tickets will be $8 and the team could use your support in pushing to give FAU its first loss. Pack the Barn Eagles!
