The Embry-Riddle hockey team is in West Chester, PA to play in the Collegiate Hockey Federation (CHF) National Championship Tournament. While the team qualified for the 2020 National Championship, it was unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic; this will be the first time in the team's 22-year history that it will compete in a national tournament.

The team has a 16-12-1 overall record and finished in third place in the Southern Collegiate Hockey Conference Playoffs and is ranked No. 11 overall in the nation.

The battle for the National Championship will start with three games of pool play:

  • Friday, March 18 @ 9:00am EDT:  #11 ERAU vs #22 Hofstra University (FINAL: ERAU 8 - Hofstra 2)
  • Saturday, March 19 @ 5:15pm EDT:  #11 ERAU vs #27 Massachusetts Maritime Academy (FINAL: ERAU 6 - MMA 0)
  • Sunday, March 20 @ 4:00pm EDT:  #6 Ramapo College vs #11 ERAU (FINAL: Ramapo 6 - ERAU 0)

Depending on the team's performance in the pool play round, they can qualify for the quarterfinals on March 21, the semifinals on March 22, and the national championship on March 23.
