The SBA Bones (18-9) and the Lake Norman Copperheads (8-17) both threatened with rallies, but it was the SBA Bones that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-4 win at Hough High School.

Eric Jones racked up three RBIs on two hits for the SBA Bones. He singled in the second innings and homered in the third inning.

Steven Oakley went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Lake Norman Copperheads. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Gage Hinson recorded his second win of the year for the SBA Bones. He allowed three runs over five innings. Hinson struck out five, walked none and gave up five hits.

Adam Hornstra was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.
