Brian Moore collected three hits as the Lake Norman Copperheads (13-22) took home a 6-1 victory over the Team Charlotte (7-31) in seven innings at Hough High School on Wednesday.

Hunter Isaacs kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Team Charlotte batters. Isaacs allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks over four innings.

Darrell Render ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked five and struck out two.
