July 25 was Avita Health System Day at James D. Heddleson Field and the 262 fans in attendance were treated to giveaways like plastic cups, tiger drawstring bags, and stressballs (that looked like baseballs, of course).

Earlier that afternoon, doctors and staff members from Avita played the Graders in a softball game. Avita won 3-2.

Before the Graders' game against the Xenia Scouts that evening, Avita's Ashley Malloris threw the first pitch. Malloris also happened to design the Graders logo.

Avita's Center for Sports Health had a health tent set up in front of the stadium. Athletic trainers had a Planko game on hand so kids could play to win other giveaways.

Between innings, Avita also treated the crowd to a "Surgery Prep" contest. Brothers Connor and Caden Beck competed in the contest, in which they had to round the bases and put on scrubs.

The game went 12 innings and the Graders won 6-5, thanks to a hit by Mark Walton that brought A.J. Cecil home. The night concluded with a fireworks show.
