At the heart of every successful summer collegiate or minor league team is a network of local host families, who serve as volunteers to a group of young men whose main focus is baseball.

These volunteers, also known as host families, are being sought to house members of the 2017 Galion Graders baseball team throughout June and July this year.

These young men are scholarship athletes who have been recruited with the expectation that they will be role models for Galion area youth while they are guests in our community and in your home.

Host families become our first fans each season, and in appreciation for their commitment to Graders baseball, each host family will be complimentary guests at all Graders’ fundraising events, receive season passes to all 2017 home games and receive a complimentary Graders hat.

Host families will also be listed in game programs. This experience is a rewarding for both the families and players and will help to make the overall summer a fantastic experience.

Providing players with a comfortable place to live makes their time in Galion one to remember, with memories that last a lifetime and contribute to their improvement as a collegiate athlete.
