Pacers Drop Season Opener

Date:  Source: Sarnia Pacers

Windsor opened the scoring early and built a 3 goal lead before Sarnia replied with one of their own and that often the way it went the entire game.  By the end of 20 minutes of play, the Pacers saw themselves down by a score of 8-2.
By the second period, it seemed the Pacers had shaken off their bus legs and actually outscored Windsor, 4 goals to 2.  Windsor didn't let that faze them at all, dominating the third and doubling the three markers scored by Sarnia.
One pleasant surprise for Sarnia was the hat trick by Lance Ross who is usually known for his defensive prowess.  Newcomer Josh Eldridge formerly of the Welland Warriors, had a good game, netting four points on a goal with three assists.
The Pacers look to get on track in their home opener on Wednesday April 27th when they take on the London Blue Devils
