The Pacers are pleased to announce the return of a few familiar faces behind the bench this season.

Heading up the bench staff for the Sarnia Junior Pacers is Kevin Huggett. Kevin has a very extensive background in lacrosse. He was part of the teams that played out of Point Edward when they were winning championships. In the mid 2000’s he was a very successful bench boss for the Sarnia Pacers. Most recently, he was involved in coaching in the minor system. He is excited to begin a new chapter and new season with the club in 2012. I One of his goals is to see a return of playoff lacrosse in Sarnia.

Joining him on the bench is Mike Mroczek – also no stranger to Junior B lacrosse in Sarnia. In his previous stint with the Pacers, Mike wore the title of General Manager but he could be found doing many other tasks – like announcing! Mike brings lacrosse coaching experience that is coupled with his expertise in fitness. He is the first person in Canada to earn the prestigious Level III Youth Fitness Specialist from the International Youth Conditioning Association. He specializes exclusively in working with young athletes. Our boys will have no cause for being out of shape with Mike on our team!

Also assisting on the bench will be James Arnold and Gary Zonneville. Gary was part of the Jr. B team that won the Ontario and Canadian championships in 1978.  James grew up playing lacrosse in the Sarnia Minor Lacrosse system and played his junior games proudly wearing the Pacer uniform.

Getting our goalies into shape and position will be Jim Bell who is no stranger to lacrosse in Sarnia and Lambton County. Jim has a long history with the local Minor Lacrosse Association and was an outstanding goalie in his playing days, most recently with the Senior B Lacrosse team – the St. Clair Storm.
