Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announce that forward Danny Hamburg has committed to Castleton State College (NCAA Division III).

Hamburg, a native of Orland Park, IL, is one of the original Jr. K-Wings and has been a constant on this team over the past two seasons. In the 2011/2012 season, Hamburg skated in 59 games and recorded 25 points (8 goals, 17 assists).

This season, Hamburg improved upon those numbers and became a real goal scoring threat. He scored 15 goals this year in 58 games.

In the playoffs, Hamburg has continued to find the back of the net, recording 2 goals in just 4 contests.

Come watch Danny and the rest of the Jr. K-Wings on Wednesday, April 17th, at 7 p.m. at the Borgess Health Rink at Wings West. They will take on the Jamestown Ironmen.
