Trio of Jr. K-Wings Headed to Badger State

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announces that forward Christian George has committed to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (NCAA Division III).
Christian George spent two years on the ice for Kalamazoo. The first year George was an assistant captain and this past season he took on the role of captain. In his rookie season George played in all 60 contests and totaled 8 goals and 22 assists. The 2012-13 campaign saw George’s numbers dip slightly, but he still provided 6 goals and 17 assists in 46 contests.
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is located in River Falls, WI approximately 45 minutes east of Minneapolis. The Falcons compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and are part of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. University of Wisconsin-River Falls finished the 2012-13 season with an overall record of 13-11-4.
