Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announce that forward Luc Boby has signed on to play hockey for Utica College (NCAA Division III).

Located in the heart of New York, Utica is a young but accomplished program. They finished the 2012-13 campaign with the highest ranking in the program’s history at No. 5 in the USCHO.com National Poll. Utica closed out the season with an impressive 21-6-1 overall record and a record of 11-3-1 in conference play. In addition, Utica’s final season appearance was in the NCAA Division III Tournament semifinals in Lake Placid, NY where they lost to eventual winner University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.

Boby was an offensive force for the Jr. K-Wings this season. In 56 games he recorded 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points. He was also solid in Kalamazoo’s playoff run adding 3 goals and 3 assists to their playoff numbers.
