Suwanee, GA - The Atlanta Crackers evened up their series against the Cartersville Cannons, as they won 6-3 last night.

Atlanta came out strong in the first inning, quickly jumping out to a 3-0 lead. The Crackers tallied eight hits in a huge offensive turnaround from their efforts three days ago.

Cartersville eventually found their stride in the third inning, matching the offense of Atlanta by tying up the game 3-3.

Atlanta was able to hold Cartersville at bay from the fourth inning on, retiring 19-straight batters, thanks to stellar pitching from Colt McKibben, Jacob Autry, and Jayson Barber. Jaden Anderson broke the knotted-up contest with a solo home run to left field as he continues his impressive offensive tear this season.

The Atlanta Crackers will finish the regular season on the road as they will take on the Atlanta Blues in a two-game series. Game one begins on Friday. The first pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.
