Lawrenceville, GA – The Pitcher and the Player of the week were announced by the Sunbelt League for week five.

The Pitcher of the week goes to Andrew Allen of the Choccolocco Monsters. Allen started twice in week five and picked up two wins. The righthander pitched 10.1 innings and recorded 15K’s while only recording one walk. He only gave up 3 hits and 3 runs total in the two wins for the Monsters.

The player of the week goes to first baseman Kaleb Huffmann of the Atlanta Crackers as he blasted 5 home runs in 6 games of week 5. Huffman drove in 9 RBI’s and scored 7 runs for the Crackers as well.
