Monarchs come up with clutch hitting in the series opener vs Muskegon to improve to 15-10 on the season and 8-3 at home with a 4-3 victory.
 
Big hits from Sam Busch and a 7th inning long ball by reliever Hayden Jatczak secured the win for the North Division leading Monarchs. 
 
The pitching did its job lead by starter Kevin Korte and Keaton Ballard allowing for the save by Jychek after 7 strong innings by the starter.
