The Monarchs took on the Clippers at Historic Marsh Field Saturday hoping to bounce back from Friday's walk-off win by the Clippers. The bats were cooking for 6 more Runs with Reece Longstaff going deep for the early lead 2-0 Jared Schwartz a local product from Muskegon pitched a solid 5 innings but as was the case on Friday the bullpen fought hard but in the end faltered late and Clippers went on to take game 2 in front of the home crowd 8-6 the series concludes with a late afternoon matinee on Sunday 6/19 as the Monarchs look to break a 3-way tie for second place in the North Division before heading home to open a 3 game set with the Ice Haulers In Sandusky, Ohio!
