MINOT, N.D. -- The last home game of the season is finally here. After months of uncertainty, the Beavers will battle the Jimmies for one final time in preparation for the national tournament. This final home game will be a special night, as the Beavers will get a chance to celebrate and support the Minot Hockey Boosters. Last season, the Beavers ordered special Minot Hockey Booster themed jerseys to be auctioned off. The pandemic got in the way and the event could not be held.

This year, the Beavers are excited to wear these jerseys. They will be auctioned off with the proceeds being donated back to the youth hockey organization. The Beavers wanted to do something different to generate more excitement and thus more dollars for the program by honoring past builders who have made the youth organization it is today. The Beavers will be wearing jerseys with the names of influential people within the Minot Hockey Boosters. Some have made contributions off the ice, on the ice or were members of both the Minot youth program and the Beavers men’s hockey program. Many are in the Minot Hockey Boosters Hall of Fame and have been pillars in the Minot community.

“We are very excited to showcase the many people who have built the game of hockey in Minot.” Said Head Coach Wade Regier. “The names the players will be wearing have played major roles in not only the youth program, but community at large. We want to make sure they get recognized for everything they have done to grow the game in Minot. It has made our program stronger because of it and we are proud to give back to them.”

As part of the Minot Hockey Boosters night, all youth hockey players will be admitted in for free by wearing either their youth hockey jersey or youth hockey track jacket.
