Battling the Tetons

MINOT, N.D. -- In a rare scheduling situation, the Beavers will host the Williston State Tetons for back to back home contests this Friday and Saturday. Back in October, there were ice issues at the Pepsi Rink. As you can imagine, the Pepsi Rink is one of the only main arenas to house five major programs in one facility. This of course, creates challenges for ice forcing the Beavers to head to Williston for back to back games. The Tetons now travel to Minot for both contests. The past two games have close between the programs. Led by stellar goaltending from Tyler Jansen, the Tetons made a game of it, as the Beavers won a close 2-1 game. Back in January, the Beavers beat the Tetons 8-1, however the game was 2-1 going into the third period.

"We are excited to battle Williston State this weekend." Said Head Coach Wade Regier "For as long as we have ever played them, they have had great goaltending. With that, they are always in games. We are definitely going to need to find ways to score."

Game time for both games is 8:00pm at the Pepsi Rink. Friday night's game can be seen live on the BEK Sports Network. On Saturday, the game will be seen on the PSP Network youtube page.
