MINOT, N.D. -- The Beavers continued its winning ways on Wednesday night beating the visiting Lumberjacks 4-2. The game was a tight contest, arguably one of the tightest games between the two programs. The game had it all. Back and forth action, lead changes and a final charge from the Lumberjacks. The game came down to the final minute and required an empty net goal by the Beavers to seal the deal. The Beavers trailed the Jacks 1-0 after the first. In the second, the Beavers got three unanswered goals from Landyn Cochrane, Davis Sheldon and Blake Fournier to take the 3-1 lead into the final frame. In the third, the Jacks made it a game scoring late to pull within one. Adam Wowryk added the insurance goal for the 4-2 win. Chad Duran made 23 saves for the Beavers victory.

Next up, the Beavers host the Williston State Tetons on Friday and Saturday night. Both games are at 8:00pm.
