Jack Richard

Born Dec. 13, 2002

Burlington Cougars, OJDL, 2019

  • 9 goals, 3 assists In 10 games

Midget AAA, Hamilton Bulldogs, 2018-19

  • 8 goals, 16 assists in 23 games

Minor Midget AA, St. Catharines Falcons, 2017-19

Committed to play for the Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, Richard will be attending Niagara IceDogs Ontario Hockey League camp in September.

The 6-foot-2 forward had his midget season shortened by a broken wrist. The Stoney Creek resident played AA hockey the previous two seasons.

Kirby Tokarski, Burlington Cougars Associate Head Coach/AGM, on Jack Richard:

“Jack is a highly skilled player who’s only touching the surface of his abilities.

He’s your typical late bloomer that, once everything clicks, will rapidly move through the junior system at an expedited rate.

We are extremely happy to have him and expect big things from him this upcoming season.

His speed, his visions and stickhandling abilities are what currently separates him from the rest.

The future is very bright for Jack Richard.”

More OJDL Players of Interest:

Lee Chiang had four assists as his Toronto Patriots defeated Georgetown No. 2 9-2 Thursday.

• Ryan Hunter scored and assisted to lead Cobourg West to a 4-3 win over Brampton Wednesday.
