Kylar Watson, Collngwood Colts
Watson began his OJDL season with a bang, scoring twice and assisting three times in Collingwood’s 8-4 win over Georgetown 1. The 16-year-old followed that two days later with two goals and two assists in a 6-3 win over the Toronto Patriots.
Watson’s nine points are tops in the 10-team OJDL.
The Colts franchise moved to Collingwood from Kingston during the off-season.

Height: 5-foot-9
Weight: 150 lbs
Drafted in the 11th round (212th overall) by the Niagara Ice Dogs in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection draft.
2018-19 – The North Central Predators AAA product played in the PJHL, first with the Midland Flyers before a mid-season trade to the Alliston Hornets. He accumulated 16 goals and 12 assists in 40 regular-season games, then two goals and three assists in 14 games in the playoffs.

“Kylar is quick and effective when controlling the puck. He has a good vision of the ice and ability to anticipate the game.”
“He can see when his teammates are in a good position and can feed them the puck for great scoring opportunities.”
“Besides being a playmaker, Kylar also has great ability to position himself in the offensive zone to find the back of the net.”
