Kelley spent the entire 2018 season with Altoona, where was rated by Baseball America as the “Best Defensive Catcher” in the Pirates system coming into the season. He threw out 28 runners attempting to steal against him, which ranked second among Eastern League backstops. He earned a non-roster invite to Major League Camp this past spring.
