2018 SCCBL All Star Team Selections

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - The 2018 SCCBL All Stars were selected on Tuesday ahead of the 2018 SCCBL All Star Game, which will take place this Saturday, July 14 in Palm Springs.  24 athletes were named to each team, with the Palm Springs Power, Riverside Bulldogs, and SoCal Bombers making up the East Team, and the Inland Valley Bucs, Pirates, and San Diego Force coming together for the West Team.  

 

Prior to the All Star Game, the day will start with the 2018 SCCBL Home Run Derby at 6 p.m.  Each of the six teams will have a representative in the contest, with the participants as follows:

 

Palm Springs Power: Shunto Kamoshida - Keio University (Tokyo)

Inland Valley Pirates: Jake Anderson - UC Colorado Springs

Inland Valley Bucs: Kory Brown

Riverside Bulldogs: Ethan Watt - Arizona Christian

SoCal Bombers: Joseph Kim - Azusa Pacific

San Diego Force: Don Roethler - Southwest Baptist

 

The main event, the 2018 SCCBL All Star Game, will be held at Palm Springs Stadium, home of the Palm Springs Power.  First pitch is set for 7 p.m. More information on the event will be released later this week.
