Player of the Week - Hayden Schilling, Palm Springs Power/New Mexico

Palm Springs Power IF Hayden Schilling slugged his way to SCCBL Player of the Week, leading the league with three home runs, notching seven RBIs and seven runs scored,  and posting a gaudy .381/.458/.857 slash line over 24 plate appearances in six games. Splitting time at third base and designated hitter, Schilling dominated in the batter’s box during Sunday’s doubleheader with the Force, going 6-for-9 with five RBIs and three extra-base hits on the day. Schilling now sits in a three-way tie for the league lead in home runs.

Pitcher of the Week - Ryan Losman, San Diego Force/Southeast Missouri

San Diego Force RHP Ryan Losman earned SCCBL Pitcher of the Week honors by firing 11 innings of six-hit ball across two relief appearances and one start, issuing only two walks while sitting down 15 opposing batters on strikes. Losman tossed a pair of scoreless two-inning relief appearances against the Bucs and Pirates before a dominant start against the Power on Sunday, allowing his run of the week (unearned) while striking out 12 across seven innings of work. Losman’s 0.56 ERA and .158 BAA now stand as the top marks in the SCCBL.
