Virtua Hockey alum Nolan Stevens (’96) has signed a two year, entry-level contract with the St. Louis Blues to start his professional hockey career. He will be reporting to St. Louis, where he can help the Blues in their playoff pursuit.

Nolan, the son of former Flyers and current Los Angeles Kings head coach John Stevens, recently finished an outstanding college career with Northeastern University. This season Nolan served as captain of the Huskies, leading them to a berth in the NCAA Division I Tournament.  Stevens scored 24 goals - second most on the team and fifth in the entire NCAA - and earned 44 points this season.  During Nolan’s four seasons at Northeastern he played in 138 games and totaled 57 goals and 61 assists, for 118 points.

Nolan was originally drafted by the Blues in the 5th round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Following his time with the Virtua Hockey program, he played for the United States National Team Development Program before enrolling at Northeastern.

Congratulations to Nolan on a great collegiate career and best of luck as you begin your professional career!
