Michael Colella Commits to Colorado College
Date: Nov 4, 2018
The USHL Phase 2 Draft was held on May 8th and Virtua Hockey standout, Max Kouznetsov, was selected by the Sioux Falls Stampede in the 15th round. Max has been playing for Virtua Hockey since his Squirt Minor year (09-10) and has consistently been one of the top players on his team. "It was extremely rewarding to see Max get selected in the draft. I have seen firsthand the dedication and work he has put in over the years here, and I could not be happier for his accomplishment" said Coach Hall.
Kouznetsov is coming off of back-to-back seasons where he led his team in points. Coach Hall has this to say about Max, "He has a pro release. Max has proven he has the ability to find the back of the net at every level he's played at. I am confident he will continue to develop this skill and be an impact player when his opportunity with Sioux Falls arrives."
Virtua Hockey continues its proud tradition of sending players to top junior hockey programs. Congrats to Max and continued success in your hockey career.
