Nobody expected this series to go in favour of Perth early. The Blue Wings have played their best hockey of the season in the first two games of the series. After scoring three goals in the third in Game 1 to win 5-2, they scored five unanswered goals in the 1st period then a couple power play goals by Joey Laird.
Vikings scored two in the game from Brendan Doherty and Ethan Wensink. Campbell was pulled after three goals on 8 shots in the 1st period. Paputsakis made 16 saves on 20 shots. Laird had a big night with 2G/2A and so did Miller 2G/1A in 3 point night.
Baggio and Somers each had 1G/1A in multi point game while Currie helped on the back end with 2 assists. Peacock made 33 saves in the win. The Blue Wings were 4 for 14 on the power play. Casselman outshot Perth 35-28. Vikings are in big trouble while Perth is in great hands of this series.
