RECAP | CASSELMAN VIKINGS WIN FIFTH STRAIGHT LEAGUE TITLE

Casselman, ON – Game three took place at the Jr Brisson Complex with Casselman leading by two games going to another tight contest but CP was able to comeback and get the victory.
It would start off in the first period with Casselman scoring two unanswered goals from Sean David and Sebastien Plante to make it 2-0. Before the period could end, Carleton Place would answer with 2:32 left from Aiden Parnell.
Second period would see Carleton Place outshooting Casselman 16-10 in the 2nd period and it led them to a tying goal from Alex Vala with four seconds left in the period. It was 2-2 going to the 3rd period. Carleton Place would get on the board from Reese Bolton to make it 3-2 and their first lead of the game but Vikings would get a tying goal from Ryan Sabourin with under six minute left to send it to OT.
In the extra frame, Casselman dominated and had many opportunities to put the game away. Carleton Place would get a bounce and Ryland Mosley would get the OT winner to get his team back in the series. Jacob Lavergne made 39 saves in the win while Vikings outshot Canadians 42-35.
Bolton 1G/1A and Patton 2A would have multi point efforts. Mosley has 16 goals, 13 assists, 29 points and leads in playoffs in points. Game four takes place Wednesday night in Carleton Place Arena at 8:15.
