Tuesday Playoff Recap

Game four goes Friday night at 8pm at the Glengarry Sports Palace.

F | Carleton Place 5, Renfrew 1 | Series Tied 1-1

After CP wasn’t off to a great start in the series, they were able to bounce back in Game two with a three goal second period before adding one more on the Power Play very early to tie the series going back to CP. Carleton Place outshot Renfrew only 28-21 in the game.

Cameron Patton scored twice while Ryland Mosley and Reese Bolton were able to collect 1G/3A in a four point effort. Alex Vala had the other goal that was the third of the game in second period. F | Casselman 7, Embrun 2 | CAS leads series 2-0

Casselman has still proved that they are the best team in Tier 2 with another dominate victory. Casselman went on to score four goals that forced a goalie change at the end of second period. The Vikings would score three more times to put it away. Casselman outshot Embrun 49-31 in the game.

Carter Malette became a big factor scoring two goals while Doherty and Millett each collected 1G/2A to capture game two. Cloutier had three assists on the defensive end. Nicholas Cambell made 29 saves for his second playoff win. Patterson and Brosseau each had a goal in loss.
