CCHL2 Three Stars of the Week (Feb 13th) - Week 22

1st Star: CP Alex Vala (8G, 2A)

Vala led his team to three victories this week against Athens, Ottawa West and Renfrew. He scored a hat trick against Athens at the beginning of the week and then kept his goal streak alive with one goal on Thursday but on Sunday became a big, scoring four goals and two assists. He has 20 goals, 18 assists, 38 points this season in total. Has scored 11 times since being traded to CP.

2nd Star: CAS Carter Malette (5G, 1A)

Malette recorded six points in two games en-route to victories against Ottawa and Athens. He had a Hat Trick against OJC and two goals, one assist against Athens. He has 21 goals, 28 assists, 49 points in his final year as a Viking.

3rd Star: PER Marc-Andre Leblanc (4G, 1A)

Leblanc is currently on a four game point and goal streak (5G, 1A) in the last four games. In the three games played last week he scored key goals at the right place and at the right time. He led his team to three victories over Alexandria, Arnprior and in OT against Embrun. He has 17 goals, 15 assists, 32 points this season with the Blue Wings.

Honorable Mention: CP Vincent Bujold-Roux (2W, 1SO, 3GA)

The really good week goaltending wise for CP makes Vincent Bujold-Roux an Honorable mention. He made 21 saves for his 5th shutout which he is 1st in the league. He made 37 saves out of 40 shots in a victory against Ottawa West. This season he holds a 17-7-0 record with a 2.14 GAA and a .929 SV%.
