We would like to congratulate Virtua Hockey program Alum Tyler Coffey on earning his commitment to play Division I college hockey at Colorado College.  

CC is located in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO and is a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).  

Tyler is currently the second leading goal scorer in the USPHL’s top division, the NCDC.  Tyler spent five of his formative years in our program, skating with Derian Hatcher’s ’99 team for many years, then joining our 2000 group at the Bantam level, helping lead our Bantam Major team to the 2015 USA Hockey National Championships.  

“Tyler always had a tremendous skill set and the ability to score goals, and combining those abilities with his solid work ethic and grit has helped him experience much success,” stated his former coach and Virtua Hockey President Pat Ferrill.  “We are thrilled to see Tyler continue to develop as a hockey player and a fine young man, and we know that Coach Haviland is getting an excellent player and an even better citizen at CC.”
