Date: Nov 4, 2018
We are pleased to announce that three of Virtua Hockey's 18u players have recently skated with USHL and NAHL teams.
Michael Colella was invited to skate with the New Jersey Titans of the NAHL and will continue to practice with them through the 2017-18 season. "I am extremely happy for Michael and his opportunity to skate with the Titans. Mike has been in the organization for many years and it is exciting to see his time and dedication pay off."
The New Jersey Titans have been watching Colella for the past three seasons as he's played for Virtua's 16's and 18's. The experience Colella will gain from skating with the Titans will undoubtedly help in his quest to play in the NAHL next season.
Colella currently leads his team in points in the AYHL with 8 goals and 11 assists in 18 games.
Max Kouznetsov just returned to the team from his week long visit with Tri-City in the USHL. Max is no stranger to Tri-City, as he was invited to participate in their camp last spring. "Max is having a breakout season for us this year. His offensive contributions have been impactful in nearly every game this season. It's been great to see the maturity Max has shown this season in taking his game to the next level."
Max currently has 7 goals and 8 assist in 15 games in the AYHL.
Kyle Peters just spent three days skating with the Northeast Generals of the NAHL. This is Kyle's second opportunity to skate with a junior team this year. "Kyle has shown great improvement this season. He is excelling as a two-way player and has become one of our most reliable forwards in the defensive zone.
Kyle currently has 6 goals and and 9 assists in 18 AYHL games.
