After playing a tough first 20 games of the season - which included away games at the Palm Springs Power (Southern California Collegiate Baseball League), Wentachee Applesox (West Coast League), So Cal Catch (California Collegiate League) and Healdsburg Prune Packers (CCL) - the Merchants will again take their show on the road to British Columbia, Canada to participate in the 35th annual Grand Forks International Baseball Tournment.

The tournament will feature some of the best summer collegiate baseball teams in the US and Canada including the Seattle Studs (Defending NBC World Series Champion), Northwest Honkers (2016 NBC World Series Participant), West Chase Express (2015 Stan Musial World Series Champions), Burnaby Bulldogs (2014 GFI Champions), Everett Merchants and Kamloops Sun Devils.

The Merchants will be amalgamated with the San Francisco Seals for the duration of this tournament.

Their first game will be the 8:00 pm prime time game on the opening day of the tournament - June 28th vs. the North Sound Emeralds. They will then play two more pool games over the next three days.

June 30th vs Burnaby Bulldogs at 11am

July 1 (Canada Day) vs Northwest Honkers at 8pm

If the Merchants/Seals place in the top two spots in their Division, they will move on to the championship round to play for a prize of $20,000.
