Date: Nov 26, 2016
The Solana Beach Cardinals and the Signal Hill Oilers matched up again on Saturday in a battle of division leaders.
After winning the night before, the Cards stayed hot, hanging on to an 8-7 victory to improve to 10-5. Solana Beach improves their winning streak to four games in a row.
The Cardinals scored two runs in each of their first four innings at the plate. Cardinals shortstop and 2016 SBL All-Star Andrew Wilson scored three runs on two hits and a walk.
After falling behind to an 8-1 lead after the fourth, the Oilers steadily crawled back into the game, leaving the tying run on third base in the ninth inning. Solana Beach now heads to Pasadena on Sunday for a double-header against the Arroyo Seco Saints.
