Connor Underwood of the South Bay Sliders has been selected the position player of the week in the SBL.

Underwood, a sophomore catcher at El Camino College finished the week 6-for-12 with two doubles and one RBI.

Kyle Wade of the Inland Valley Pirates earned the nod for the pitcher of the week.

Wade, a sophomore at Iowa, pitched 8.1 innings and struck out five, while only allowing one run.
