The Battle of Orange County was lopsided as the OC Surf swept the OC Riptide winning by a combined 15 runs in the three games played on Saturday and Sunday.

The Surf won Game 1 on Saturday 5-3. John Balliet led the way with a 2-for-4 day and one RBI. Anthony Sommer pitched 5.1 strong innings allowing just two earned runs and striking out six. 

In Game 2, the Surf won 7-2. Ryan Daugherty notched two RBI and Balliet scored twice. Matthew Moriarty earned the victory tossing five solid innings.

The Surf won Game 3 14-6. Brandon Mulrooney was the standout ripping three hits, belting four RBI and scoring twice just for good measure. Brett Thompson had a stellar performance as well finishing with two hits, two RBI and one run scored. Phil Steering finished with two hits and three runs scored. Jason Bush had three knocks, scored twice and belted in one RBI.
