KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Outlaws organization is proud to announce that 20 Year Old Alex Svoboda has committed to Northern Michigan University ACHA DII.  Svoboda, native of Wasilla, AK, joined the Outlaws for the 2013 season and immediately gave the staff and team instant leadership.  During the 2013-2014 campaign Svoboda posted 15 points in 36 games with the club.  In that same season Svoboda was nominated and won the NPHL Student Athlete of the Year for his high marks in school and also his involvement with the local community.  In the 2014-2015 campaign Svoboda posted 20 points in 34 games.  In total, Svoboda played in 70 games and had 10 goals with 25 assists for a total point count of 35.  

"Alex is going to be a great addition to Northern Michigan.  He is a born leader and very mature for his age.  His presence on and off the ice is something every team would want.  We wish him well and look forward to seeing him progress in his college years," stated Owner Jordan Owen.
