The Anchorage Bucs (14-17) beat the Alaska Goldpanners (10-18) 4-3 but needed 10 innings to do so on Monday at Growden Memorial Park.

With the score tied at three, McCarthy Tatum came to the plate and singled, scoring Brenn Conrad.

Ed Voyles pitched lights out for the Anchorage Bucs. The Alaska Goldpanners managed just one hit off of the the Anchorage Bucs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Jonathan Pendergast allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Jose Cardona ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
