The Seattle Impact FC have announced the addition of Francisco Cisneros, the very first defender to be signed to the team. Cisneros is very familiar with the Pacific Northwest, as he was born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon and attended high school at Crescent Valley High. Along with attending Oregon State University, where he got his Bachelor’s in in Exercise Sports Science, Cisneros brings many years of playing experience in Oregon and Washington to the table.
Despite spending so many years of his early life in Oregon, Cisneros is no stranger to the state of Washington. Most recently, Cisneros has played for Kitsap Pumas’ indoor and outdoor teams. He has played for the Pumas since their inaugural season in 2010 and has played four seasons with the Pumas.
Cisneros is looking forward to the opportunity to be apart of Seattle Impact FC’s team. “I am very excited and honored to be a part of the inaugural season with the Seattle Impact FC,” Cisneros said. “I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the team, getting into training, and making a contribution for Seattle Impact FC.”
Open player tryouts and dance team auditions will be held at ShoWare Center in Kent, WA on September 6th & 7th, 2014 and require pre-registration. The team kicks off their innaugural season with a home game against the San Diego Sockers on November 8, 2014. Details can be found on the team website.
