Redbirds welcome stout forward Tony Campise!
Date: Jul 27, 2020

The Redbirds welcome Logan Oliver to the family! Logan, a forward at 5’10” 160 lbs, comes to the Redbirds from the St. Louis AAA Blues/Chesterfield Falcons CSDHL. Logan is currently competing for the Chesterfield Falcons.
Oliver’s deciding factors in choosing Illinois State are the campus size being compact for a large school, the great business program with opportunities in the community, and taking his hockey career to the next level. He intends to major in Business Administration.
The coaches that pushed him to be his best are his favorites. “Coach Parker and Coach Behan both pushed us to our full potential, individually, and as a team”, Oliver states.
Logan has two siblings he’ll bring to the Redbird hockey fan club. His older brothers, Drew and Jeremy. “My parents have been my biggest supporters from day 1. I’m sure you will see them and my brothers at a few games!” he says. He most looks forward to meeting new people and playing hockey in front of our fans. His favorite food is chicken fingers. If Logan could choose to be any animal, he would be a eagle(he meant Redbird) because being able to fly would be pretty cool!
“We are excited to have Logan coming to Illinois State. He has glowing reports of character from his current coach and his grades are excellent, showing a dedication to being a well rounded individual. Additionally, he is an exceptionally strong skater and has an excellent work ethic that will ensure his growth!” -Coach Bobby DiNardi
