Goaltender, Mark Vlahovic, will represent his country, Slovenia, in the World Junior Championships on December 11-16. The Southern Oregon Spartans acquired Mark over the summer where he was playing for Red Bull in Salzburg, Austria. Mark has currently played 16 games for the Spartans posting a 2.37 GAA (goals against average) and a .930 SVS% (save percentage) while obtaining a record of 14-2. Mark has also been named one of the five captains for the 2016/2017 Spartans team. The Spartans are very pleased with Marks play and leadership thus far and want to wish him the best of luck in Hungary, where he will be playing for his country in the World Junior Championships.
