MEDFORD, OR - Dan Mayer earned West Coast League co-Player of the Week honors with his solid work at the plate. Mayer went 12-for-26 with three homeruns, 10 runs scored, 2 doubles, a triple and 12 RBIs. 
 
With his three homeruns, Mayer increased his league-leading homerun total to 11 which also sets a new record for most homeruns in a single season for the West Coast League as well as a franchise record for the Medford Rogues. With his 36 RBIs in league play, he ranks third in the WCL with runs batted in. 
 
Mayer helped lead the Rogues to winning two series, one at Klamath Falls and another against the Bellingham Bells at Harry and David Field. Mayer had two homeruns in game one against the Gems. The Rogues took the series from the Yakima Valley Pippins and are still in the WCL wild card race with a 21-24 record. 
 
The Rogues face the Bend Elks Friday night at 6:35pm for Fill the Park Friday. Free tickets are available at Muchas Gracias restaurant and Iron Skillet/Country Store.

The Medford Rogues is a wood-bat collegiate summer baseball team, in the West Coast League. The WCL is a 12-team league that includes teams from both the US and Canada, ranging from Medford, Oregon to Kelowna, British Columbia.
