SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan hangs on, beats SV Kaltern Caldaro Rothoblaas 4-2

Tobias Kofler scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and the SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan Broncos held off the challenges of the SV Kaltern Caldaro Rothoblaas Hechte-Lucci in a tough 4-2 win.

Kofler provided SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan with the game-winning tally when he scored 19:03 into the the first period. Simon Baur picked up the assist.

Gunnar Braito had two goals and one assist to lead the Broncos. Braito scored the first of his two goals at 12:03 into the first period to make the score 2-1 SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan. Derek Eastman provided the assist. Braito's next tally made the score 4-2 SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan with 3:06 left in the second period. Christian Sottsas assisted on the tally.

SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan stifled SV Kaltern Caldaro Rothoblaas' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
