NBL Canada Releases 2013-14 Schedule

(TORONTO, ON):  The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to release the 2013-14 regular season league schedule.

 

The schedule kicks off with three games on Friday November 1st.  Former Rainmen Coach Rob Spon and the Saint John Mill Rats visit the Halifax Rainmen, the expansion Brampton A's visit the Moncton Coliseum for a date with the Miracles, and the 401 rivalry kicks off as the London Lightning visit the Windsor Express.

 

The NBL Canada will play a 40 game season between November 1st and February 28th. 

 

"With over 200 regular & playoff game slated for the upcoming season, we are extremely excited about the growth of the league, the caliber of play, and the fantastic product our owners and their staff are putting out on the floor each night as an affordable, family entertainment package," stated NBL Canada President & CEO Andre Levingston.

 

This season the league will introduce new expansion teams in Brampton, Ontario (Brampton A's) and in the nation's capital (Ottawa SkyHawks).  Also the Power now call Mississauga home while the Prince Edward Island's Storm now plays in Charlottetown.

 2013-14 NBL Canada Schedule 

 

The 2013 NBL Canada Pre-Draft Combine will be on August 17-18th at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville, ON.  The Draft will be held at the Hilton Suites Conference Centre and Spa in Markham, Ontario on August 19th.

 

The NBL Canada Draft will kick off at 7:00PM on the 19th and will be open to the public to attend.  Fifty top prospects will be selected from the league's two day combine on Saturday and Sunday at the ACTS Athlete Institute in Mono, ON.
