Former Big 10 Star Signs with Storm

(TORONTO, ON): The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Devin Sweetney of the Moncton Miracles has been named the Recharge with Milk Player of the Week for the week ending January 13, 2013. This is the second time Sweetney has earned this honour this season; he is also the first player to win the award twice, with each award have been earned while playing for different head coaches.
Sweetney, a 6'6" forward who played his college ball at St. Francis of Pennsylvania, averaged 28.6 points per game in three Moncton contests this week, including a 36-point effort in Moncton's Sunday night 116-105 triumph over the Saint John Mill Rats.
