Former Big 10 Star Signs with Storm

LONDON, ONTARIO - Two free throws by Jermaine Blackburn with eight seconds left, boosted London (22-2) to a 101-96 win over the Windsor Express (10-13).
The Express hung tight with the NBL's leading Lightning throughout the game and had a one point lead with 7:21 left, but couldn't hold on.
Windsor held a one point lead after the first quarter and entered halftime down 51-46.
The Lightning and Express would each score 27 points in the third quarter and 23 in the final frame.
Windsor was without starting point guard, Darren Duncan, but benefited from an outstanding performance by his replacement,Stefan Bonneau.
Bonneau led the team with 19 points in his first NBL start, adding two assists and two rebounds.
Seven Windsor players scored in double digits, Kevin Loiselleposted a double-double with his 12 points and game-high 14 rebounds.
Another clutch performance came from University of Windsor grad,Isaac Kuon, who contributed a season-high 15 points off the bench.
Windsor falls to 1-4 during the regular season against the Lightning, who will visit the WFCU Centre on January 27th at 2pm.
Before then, the Express host Halifax, a team they are chasing for the fifth and final playoff spot, on Friday, January 18th. Tipoff is 7:00pm.
