Bristol Blues vs. Vermont Mountaineers
Final Score/6: Bristol 6, Vermont 2
Montpelier, VT- The Mountaineers hosted the Blues for a game that provided NECBL fans with much excitement prior to storms rolling in and causing the game to be called early. Before the bad weather, Trevor Hansen (Manhattan) kicked his monster performance off with a three-run home run to quickly put the Blues up 3-0 in the top of the second. In the top of the third, Bristol rallied for three more runs when Mikael Peterson (Brown) hit an RBI single, and Trevor Hansen (Manhattan) hit a two-RBI double to make the score 6-0 Blues. JT Landwehr (Portland) also collected eight of Bristol’s nine strikeouts, proving himself as a valuable asset to the win along with Hansen.
