Week Eight Players of the Week

For the Anchorage Glacier Pilots:

Max Martin is a 6’5” pitcher from Northridge, Calif. attending the UC Irvine. He pitched in one game of relief, going two and two-thirds innings. Martin struck out three, walked one, and allowed no runs on no hits in nine batters faced.

Andrew Lamb is a 6’ utility player from Coto De Caza, Calif. committed to USC. He is batting 0.467 in four games, going 7 for 15. Lamb scored three times with one double, one triple, four RBIs, one stolen base, two walks, and three strikeouts.

For the Mat Su Miners:

Ethan Lyke is a 6’1” pitcher from Evansville, Ind. attending Murray State. He started in one game, pitching six and one-third innings. Lyke struck out seven, walked three, and allowed no runs on one hits in 23 batters faced.

Cooper Vest is a 6’ outfielder from St. Georger, Utah, attending BYU. He is batting 0.444 in four games, going 8 for 18. Vest scored three times with one double, one triple, two RBIs, one stolen base, one walk, and one strikeout.

For the Anchorage Bucs:

Michael Sarhatt is a 6’6” pitcher from Belmont, Calif. committed to Point Loma Nazarene University. He started in one game, pitching five innings. Sarhatt struck out seven, walked one, and allowed no runs on three hits in 18 batters faced.

Zach Thomas is a 6’3” infielder from Jessup, Ga. attending LSU Eunice. He is batting 0.333 in four games, going 4 for 12. Thomas scored once with two doubles, one RBIs, two walks, and one strikeout.

For the Peninsula Oilers:

Mose Hayes is a 5’10” pitcher from Homer, Alaska, attending Yuba CC in California. He started in one game, pitching eight innings. Hayes struck out seven, walked one, and allowed no runs on four hits in 29 batters faced. 

Michael Elko is a 6’ infielder from College Station, Texas, attending Northwestern University. He is batting 0.619 in six games, going 13 for 21. Elko scored four times with one double, five RBIs, one stolen base, one walk, and one strikeouts.

For the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks:

Garrett DeClue is a 5’7” pitcher from Littleton, Colo. attending Cumberland University. He started in two games, pitching 15 and two-thirds innings. DeClue struck out nine, walked four, and allowed four runs on 12 hits in 62 batters faced. 

Tommy Rover is a 5’8” infielder from Brentwood, Calif., attending Fresno Pacific University.  He is batting 0.313 in five games, going 5 for 16. Rover scored three times with two doubles, seven RBIs, three walks, and one strikeout.
